Grand Opening of the Johnson Education Center“Celebrate Open Space 2006” – D&R Greenway Land Trust's first annual community celebration of land preservation in our region was held on Sunday, April 30, 2006 at the Johnson Education Center in Princeton Township. “Celebrate Open Space 2006” was the grand opening of the Johnson Education Center. The only resource of its kind in the state and home to D&R Greenway Land Trust, the Johnson Education Center encompasses the tools, techniques and expertise our public and private partners need to help them preserve as much land as possible, as quickly as possible. The Johnson Education Center was renovated from one of the original barns of Princeton's historic 274 -acre Edgerstoune Estate, constructed at the turn of the last century. It stands in Greenway Meadows Park , 60 acres of the original estate preserved by D&R Greenway Land Trust and partners in 2001. For more information about the Johnson Education Center or to rent the facility for your community group or organization see Johnson Education Center.
